Cooking & Quaffing Corporate or Private Events

The Wine & Food Academy provide private ' Cooking & Quaffing ' evenings or full days for groups. Whether it's a hen-party or a departmental outing, or just a group of friends and colleagues, we can mix and match our menus and wines to suit the occasion.


We can provide a hands-on occasion, where you cook everything on a 3-course menu, or how about demonstrations of certain skills e.g. working with chocolate or preparing unusual canapés etc.

You arrive to Champagne aperitif with appetisers, and then the cooking tuition begins. We'll discuss menus with you beforehand, so you will always have the dishes of your choice. Once you've prepared and cooked the food, you will taste wines specially selected to accompany the menu perfectly, then you sit and eat!


The atmosphere is fun and informal, and there are always opportunities to ask questions and try things out. We have 5 venues we use for our events in teh London area:

• Mosimann's Academy (Battersea) ideal for groups up to 20 (daytime and evening)
• La Cuina Caldesi (Marylebone Lane) ideal for group up to 20 (daytime and evening)
• Mayfair Conference Centre (Marble Arch) ideal for groups of 20 – 80 (daytime and evening)
• t.a.s.t.e ( Barons Court ) the Ealing & Hammersmith College where we can take groups up to 100 plus
• The Vincent Rooms at Westminster Catering College (where we hold our monthly cooking classes)
• Beyond Boyle (Tower Bridge) groups of up to 50 daytime or evening, ideal for our City clients and Canary Wharf companies

We also use several other venues throughout the UK.
