Guests will receive full cookery tuition and supervision from our expert chefs, as well as participating in a tutored wine tasting. All utensils and equipment are provided by WFA. All guests are expected to consume their cookery creations - accompanied by suitable wines of course! Dates for 2008 : (menus and wines to follow soon) January 19th : Winter Treats February 16th : Easter Fayre March 29th : The Greek Islands April 26th : Imperial Russia May 24th : Spring Fever June 28th : Al Fresco July 26th : Mexican Bonanza Sept 27th : Fruit of the Sea Oct 25th : Wild Mushrooms and Game Nov 29th : tba Dec 20th : tba Itinerary : 10.00 am - Guests arrive for coffee and pastries! 10.30 am - Health and Safety briefing, then guests split into groups to cook menu (according to ability) 1.15 pm - Aperitifs and nibbles 1.30 pm - Food served. Harmonising wines and food together. 4.00 pm - End Health & Safety Rules : No nail varnish or jewellery (watches can be worn on aprons). Hardwearing shoes please. No trainers (hot liquids & knives). Hair to be tied back. Aprons and hats will be provided as part of the course.
