'Cooking and Quaffing' One-Day Cookery Courses

These one-day Saturday cookery courses take place once a month (we can also provide individually-tailored classes and events for corporate or private functions - see our 'Private Cooking Events' page).

They are held at the most prestigious catering college in the UK – Westminster College, Victoria. We have the use of their fantastic kitchens, with great cooking facilities. Lunch will be held in the famous Escoffier Dining Room. A real opportunity to hone your cooking skills in the best possible location.

Each course is limited to 20 places only. Guests will receive full cookery tuition and supervision from our expert chefs, as well as participating in a tutored wine tasting.

All utensils and equipment are provided by WFA. All guests are expected to consume their cookery creations - accompanied by suitable wines of course!

Itinerary :
10.00 am - Guests arrive for coffee and pastries!
10.30 am - Health and Safety briefing, then guests split into groups to cook menu (according to ability)
1.15 pm - Aperitifs and nibbles
1.30 pm - Food served. Harmonising wines and food together.
4.00 pm - End

Health & Safety Rules :
No nail varnish or jewellery (watches can be worn on aprons).
Hardwearing shoes please. No trainers (hot liquids & knives).
Hair to be tied back.
Aprons and hats will be provided as part of the course.
