'Cooking and Quaffing' One-Day Cookery Courses
These one-day Saturday cookery courses take place every two months (we can also provide individually-tailored classes and events for corporate or private
functions - see our 'Private Cooking Events' page).
They are held at one of our specialised venues in London. A real opportunity to hone your cooking skills in the best possible location.

Cost inclusive of all food and wine :
£195 per person.

We take up to 50 guests only on course. Guests will receive full cookery tuition and supervision from our expert chefs, including wine matching with the food.
All utensils and equipment are provided by WFA. All guests are expected to consume their cookery creations.
The menu will change for each date, according to season. We take into account all dietary requirements, just let us know in advance. Menus will be chosen from the following:
Spanakopita Triangles, filo pastry with apricot raisin glaze
Normandy Apples in choux pastry with brandy crème anglaise
Chicken Liver Parfait
Poached Pears with Marscapone
Potato & Celeriac Soup
Chicken Andalusian (Seville-style)
Sticky Toffee Pudding
Butternut Squash Ravioli
Sea Bass with fennel and lime en Papillote
Sticky Date Pudding with Rum Toffee Sauce
Dates 2012 - 2013:
20 October, 3 November, 17 November, 8 December, 26 Jan, 9 Feb, 23 Feb, 9 March, 23 March, 27 April
10.30am : Guests arrive for Health & Safety briefing, then split into groups to cook
1.30pm : Guests stop cooking and move to restaurant area
1.45 : Food is served with wines
3.30 : Ends
Health & Safety Rules :
No nail varnish or jewellery (watches can be worn on aprons).
Hardwearing shoes please. No trainers (hot liquids & knives).
Hair to be tied back.
Aprons and hats will be provided as part of the course.
